As our nation celebrated Independence Day this month, our blog highlighted the various kinds of Freedom that we pursue for ourselves and for one another. We bonded together as a staff team at an Indians baseball game. On the blog, we learned more about The Julian Center and their commitment to protecting victims of domestic violence and assault, giving them the opportunity to move forward in their lives, free from fear. We also learned about life-long volunteer and bankruptcy attorney Darrell Dolan, a man who chooses to use his freedom to help those in deep financial straits. And finally, the Fort Wayne office of the Clinic advertised their Race4Justice team as they participate in their second annual Fort4Fitness Fall Festival on Sept. 26th. Check back in this August as the Clinic’s blog explores the theme of “Forgiveness.” On Monday, August 3rd, we’ll share Executive Director Chris Purnell’s thoughts on the freeing power and importance of true forgiveness.
But in the meantime, join us as we say goodbye to July!
